Our Fishery

Established in 1990, the mature waters of Milton Ponds Fishery offer a peaceful countryside escape set within ten acres of vibrant Devon landscape. Our family fulfilled a long-held dream when we moved here in 2021, and we take great pride in maintaining these grounds where nature and sport live in harmony. The fishery features five distinct ponds, including a dedicated stock pond and our premier specimen lake, which is home to stunning carp reaching 28lb and tench up to 4.5lb. For those seeking variety, our top and middle ponds offer a rewarding mix of carp up to 18lb, alongside perch, roach, rudd, tench, and crucian carp.

Because our environment has had decades to flourish, a day by the water is often shared with a wonderful array of wildlife. You might catch a glimpse of a kingfisher, a summer barn owl, or even a grass snake swimming across the ponds. Surrounded by wildflowers, dragonflies, and birds of prey, the fishery provides a tranquil setting whether you are a seasoned angler or simply wish to sit by the water and soak in the natural beauty. It is a place designed for relaxation, where a rewarding day of fishing transitions perfectly into a quiet evening in the countryside.
