Our Story

For many years, our family traveled to Devon for holidays, always sharing a dream of one day moving down, buying our own land, and keeping our own animals. In 2021, that dream became a reality when we saw the chance to buy Milton Ponds. We knew we had to go for it-a beautiful site spanning over 10 acres with five fishing ponds already well-stocked with incredible fish.

Construction on our lodges began that same year, and by 2022, we officially opened our doors to the public. We are proud to offer a peaceful countryside escape where guests can fish for specimen carp, enjoy coarse fishing, or simply sit by the water and immerse themselves in nature.

Relaxation and Family Fun

Whether you are here for the challenge of our specimen lake or a quiet family break, we have designed the property to be enjoyed by everyone. Our five ponds offer a range of fishing opportunities, from catching specimen carp to peaceful coarse fishing. For families, we have a zip line and a small swing set to keep the children entertained. After a day of exploring the 10 acres, you can relax in your own private stock-fenced garden and enjoy a BBQ as the evening sets in. At Milton Ponds, we offer a true home-away-from-home experience in the heart of the Devon countryside.

A Mature Natural Haven

One of the most rewarding parts of our move was finally having the space for our animals, who are a big part of life here at the fishery. During your stay, you can meet our sheep, Bluebell, Daisy, Miley, Dottie, and Roo, as well as our two goats, Ginnie and Pixie. We are also home to Winnie and Wilbur the mini pigs, Sally and Mable the chickens, and our horses, Queenie and Toby. You might even spot our three cats, Meow, Ziggy, and Dave, wandering the grounds. Each animal adds their own personality to the peaceful atmosphere of the estate.
